All Green Tour – 8 Days Track in Sri Lanka

Day 1

Upon arrival to the airport we shall travel to Negombo to the fish market to enjoy the smells and the munchies culture at early morning hours. At the market we shall have a lite breakfast and continue on to one of the most important temples in the Buddhism culture, the sacred Temple of the Tooth which is located at Kandy. In the temple we will observe the great tooth of Buddha that was smuggled to Sri Lanka 2,300 years ago to be preserved at the amazing temple. After the tour we will enjoy a cultural dance show which combines the “walking on fire” tradition.
Hill Top Kandy is a 3 stars hotel which will provide accommodation for the first night.

Day 2

We shall begin our day visiting at the Udawatta nature reserve, which is located near the amazing rain forest. The forest is occupied with many bird species, butterflies and various monkeys. The track itself is considered light and will take about two hours continuing to the Knuckles Ridge who is known as a UNESCO heritage site, and is located north to Kandy. The five tall and staggering ridges are breathtaking, and among them you can find hundreds of possible tracks and paths that allows you to peek into the lives of the birds and amazing animal. We chose a moderate difficulty level for the four hour walk track.
We shall accommodate at “Corvets View” gust house, that has a spectacular view to the ridges.

Day 3

In the early morning hours we shall enjoy another tour at the “Knuckles Ridge” and continue on to an amazing road trip full of high peek mountains and tea fields, on the to Kitulgala there we will make a rafting track of third degree difficulty at the Kalani river, which starts at the Horton plain and flows into the Indian Ocean. When finished, we will enjoy a peaceful evening near the river at the “Plantation Hotel Kitulgala”.

Day 4

We will begin our morning with an astonishing 3 hour, track at the rain forest which surrounds the incline of the Kalani river. We will get to know the many birds and monkey species that live there and enjoy the forests creators. After the track, we shall continue to the “Siri Pada” guest house in a small community village which is located below the summit of “Adams Peek”.

Day 5

This is a special morning, we will start climbing the steep incline of “Adams Peek” to see the sunrise that is known to be one of the most beautiful ones in the world. We will enjoy the peek, furthermore followed by a late breakfast. We will continue our day with a road trip to Nuwara Eliya to the highest view point in Sri Lanka. For the of the day we will enjoy a visit to the local tea factory to learn about its mysteries and finish with a short relaxing bike ride along lake of Nuwara Aliya and be accommodated at a three stars hotel in Nuwara Aliya.

Day 6

The day shall begin with a short road trip to Alla that is known to be the capital of tracks in Sri Lanka. There we will have a track in a intermediate level at Alla Rock to a staggering view of the green plains spreading towards the ocean. We will continue with a road trip crossing the Ravana falls and an amazing Hindu temple. Our accommodation will be at a three star hotel in Tismara.

Day 7

We will spend our day at the most famous nature reserve in Sri Lanka, this is a home for many amazing animals such as: elephants, wild boars, deers, alligators, bears and even tigers.
At the worm sunny hours we shall spend near a river at a camping area in the reserve. Upon finishing in the afternoon, we will continue to a near safari where we will be accommodated in a beautiful camping area to enjoy a magical dinner around the fire under the nights sky.
