Food in Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka has always been well known for it’s amazing spices, because of this spices the food is unique and extraordinary. The food mainly looks basic such as rice with curry, but the spices are everything creating an amazing delicious meal. In Sri Lanka you may find verity of fruits and vegetables throughout the year.
Also, fresh fish and seafood, usually cooked with coconut milk which makes it dreamy and extremely delicious. The most traditional food in Sri Lanka is usually a plate of rice with some cooked curry vegetables and fresh os special dried fish fried with chili and red onions. The traditional way to eat is with you bare hands, squashing the rice with the rest of the foods makes the meal much more intriguing and interesting, nevertheless if you try to eat each ingredient by itself you will quickly learn they are well spiced and go much better all together as tradition. The most common food on the shores is the seafood, it is fresh from the ocean such as large shrimps and excellent lobsters, also you have many fresh fish spices which are cooked in many traditional ways.
